Empowering Change in Bolton With Transformational Vision

Eddie Gorman, I was born and raised in Bolton, and as a lifelong resident of the town, I am intimately familiar with the challenges that we all encounter in our daily lives. Having experienced first-hand the mismanagement of our local council over many years, I share in the frustrations we all feel. Like you, I have witnessed the increasing levels of crime and share the exasperation at the lack of change. The inadequate presence of law enforcement, along with the lengthening wait times for ambulances and A&E services, are issues that deeply concern me. I believe that Bolton requires transformation and that calls for a figure with the courage to stand up and declare that enough is enough, I truly believe that I can be that person, I ask that reliable public services are not too much to ask for. If elected I will fight daily for BETTER policing, BETTER management of A&E/urgent care services thus stopping the bottleneck in delaying emergency ambulances. I will constantly monitor ALL Council services to ensure Bolton residents are getting value for money.

Parliament Debate Petition

Calling for a new

General Election

After Reaching 3.1Million signatures, the petition calling for a new General Election was debated in

Parliament, from the very outset MP's could not get out the phrase that the petition could NOT force a new election, opposition MP's did list reasons why they understood the discontent within the British people, while Labour MP's just blamed the previous Government and the last 14yrs for the reason the petition started.

Yes Labour won the election and have a large majority, NOT because the Country came out in great numbers to vote for Labour, more that people just didn't vote in great numbers, the point being Keir Starmer has such a large majority in the house of commons, but Jeremy Corbyn lost the previous election and had many more people vote for Labour, so i would say that Keir starmers House is built on very fragile foundations, and the more he rides rough shot over the British people the louder the grumblings of discontent will become and make the foundations start to crumble from the cracks already appearing.

We stand against the tyranny of Starmer and his Labour Government

More Welcome !!!

His Majesty King Charles lll has stated that refugees need to "feel more welcome" how much more can one be welcomed than a plush hotel room, free food, dental treatment, NHS care, TV, mobile telephone, Internet bus passes AND spending money ? all while his BRITISH subjects face NO welcome at all by the Government!

Smashing the gangs!!

The prime minister vowed to smash the gangs to stop the small boats! has this happened? with over 470 individuals arriving on Christmas day alone what do you think? I say it is just more and more lies from a 1 term Government, trying to hold on to power as they further wreck our Country, Traditions and Values.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Who was cold & hungry this Christmas?

- Kier Starmer?

- Rachel Reeves?

- Angela Rayner?

ANY of the THOUSANDS who crossed the channel illegally?

- Convicted criminals in prison?

-     OR     -

Law abiding BRITISH citizens who are being stealth taxed into poverty

-    AND    -

OAP's who have paid into the system their whole lives with tax & NI, VAT, Fuel duty etc: etc:

IS THIS FAIR ?

I don't think it is!

and if elected I promise to fight daily for the rights of ALL British citizen's to take priority over ANYONE who entered our nation illegally, and will prioritise the needs of British farmers, Fishermen and all British manufacturing before ANY Foreign aid.

Human Rights Act 2022 - And the erosion of our rights by the Government

Even though the Human Rights Act of 1998 safeguards our right to free speech, there are certain limitations in place. According to Article 10 of the Act, freedom of expression entails responsibilities, especially concerning national security (a Major Concern of failing Government), public safety (is a police responsibility, not ours) prevention of disorder or crime (also the duty of the police), and protection of health and morals. It is disturbing when the Government is trying to dictate morals to the British public. all whilst suppressing ANY concerns that do not fit in with their narrative, While hate speech towards individuals is unacceptable, public discussions and inquiries should always be permitted. No individual should suffer unjust penalties, arrests, detentions, or attacks - whether in person or online - simply for expressing an opinion. If the Government or Police violate these laws, they forfeit any privilege and should face severe penalties, as they are expected to be more knowledgeable of the law than ordinary citizens.

Bolton Council is failing it's residents

Empowering Bolton

Eddie Gorman MP Candidate 2029 is a dedicated advocate for proper representation in Bolton. With a focus on reforming public services and upholding British culture and values.

Its now time for

Empowering Lives & Changing Futures

I am dedicated to creating positive change through Reform, empowerment and sustainable solutions for communities throughout Bolton, ensuring YOUR voice is heard

Education

Ensuring equal access to quality education for every child in Bolton is our primary focus. We are fully dedicated to achieving excellence in all educational sessions, with a strong commitment to ensuring each session is recognized as either good or outstanding. It's evident that a significant number of children entering our schools do not have English as their first language. This not only leads to larger class sizes but also impacts the quality of education our children receive. We acknowledge that teachers can only do so much, and the current lack of resources, including the unavailability of multiple teaching assistants, hinders these children from fully integrating into the school system and understanding the instruction given by our exceptional teachers.

Healthcare

Advocating for the enhancement of healthcare and social care services through the promotion of community-based clinics spread evenly across the borough. Additionally, advocating for the establishment of a minor injuries unit at Bolton One is crucial. These efforts are aimed at reducing the burden on our A&E department, ultimately leading to an improvement in the quality of care provided to patients in need. Every effort needs to be made to stop corridors and Ambulances being used as holding areas due to a large number of patients, no one deserves to be left on a stretcher in a corridor, and from personal experience the indignity of a doctor wanting to perform examinations in these corridors is inhumane.

Environmental

Ensuring access to effective rodent control services that are both adequate and provided free of charge at the point of use for all residential properties, Enforcing dog fouling laws and fining owners who allow their dog to foul and not attempt to clean up after their dog.

Rigorously prosecuting all individuals caught illegally dumping waste, with more operations between the Police and Council Enforcement teams to crack down on the illegal waste carriers.

Protecting the environment involves implementing conservation measures and sustainable practices,  this means keeping Green belt land Green, and no reclassification to brown land for development of housing estates.

Bolton One

The Royal Bolton Hospital A&E unit is failing the people of Bolton, So many people are attending the department when they don't need to, but the lack of NHS facilities in Bolton means they have nowhere else to go. Leaving very poorly patients on stretchers in corridors for hours and even days.

Have you ever felt frustrated by the long wait times at the A&E department? Now is your chance to make a difference by signing our petition to set up a Minor Injuries Unit at Bolton One. Your signature can help improve access to faster and more efficient care for minor injuries in our community. Leaving our A&E to effectively look after life-threatening injuries and health conditions.

By signing this petition, you are advocating for better healthcare services in Bolton,  Join us in pushing for positive change and ensuring that our voices are heard loud and clear. Together, we can impact the future of healthcare in our area for the better.

Our Vision

A hospital A&E needs to be staffed by Multiple Doctors and Nurses of all types and all levels of training. A Minor injuries unit does not need to be staffed by Consultants or multiple senior Doctors, it can be run very effectively by Nurse practitioners, Nurses and Health care assistants, with 1 or 2 junior Doctors and 1 senior Doctor for any cases that may need a review. Bolton One has an X-ray department which could be fully utilised by having a Minor injuries unit onsite.

Bolton One Minor Injuries Unit

Having a fully functioning Minor injuries unit in the centre of Bolton will not only be beneficial to the residents of Bolton who have a mishap and have a Minor injury, but it could also be a smaller area burn, a sprained ankle and even broken bones could be identified with the onsite X-ray unit with only the most serious cases that need surgery being referred to the A&E dept. the Unit could also house the out of hours GPs where the unit can refer patients to when they need to see a GP rather than A&E or Minor injuries unit. it is about utilising the NHS resources efficiently and most cost-effectively.

News

Our Public services are at breaking point

Most of our public services are on the brink of collapse, highlighting the essential need for comprehensive reform. The current methods are ineffective, emphasising the crucial necessity for immediate and widespread change on all fronts.

Our Precious NHS

The NHS is in constant need of additional funding, but it is imperative to revamp expenditure practices, eliminate wasteful spending, and empower each trust to procure medications and supplies locally. This strategy will lead to reduced waste, foster stronger relationships with local businesses, and prevent the NHS from falling prey to inflated prices.

Is it any wonder we lose so many Junior Doctors and Nurses when they have to pay 40% income tax, it is not only ridiculous but immoral, I will fight for the right of every frontline Emergency Worker to be taken out of Higher tax brackets, only then will they feel valued for the lifesaving work they do on a daily basis.

Global Initiatives all well and good

While all nations seek to support those in need worldwide, it is crucial for the UK government to focus on aiding those facing hardships within our own borders. The increasing homelessness crisis, especially among former military personnel who have served our nation, is a stark reality that cannot be ignored. It is imperative for our nation to address this issue promptly and effectively. I urge the new Labour Government to take decisive action to tackle this pressing issue.

Community Outreach

Advocating for crucial resources and fair funding in overlooked urban district Councils to bring optimism to areas historically lacking support. Dedication to establishing more community centers at a local level to enhance community bonds and unity.

Social Care

In England, the social care system is failing. Those dedicated to caring for our vulnerable loved ones deserve fair pay. It's troubling that a supermarket cashier can earn more than a carer. Urgent reform is needed to ensure proper pay for those who provide essential care.
